Android on DEVAE
Android developers on DEVAE talk about Compose, architecture that survives a growing app, Play Console policies, background work and battery, and supporting the long tail of devices that iOS developers never have to think about. The hub overlaps with Kotlin and Flutter, so cross-posting with both tags reaches the right people. Rooms are the practical advantage: share the emulator or a physical device screen along with Logcat and debug together, which is far faster than trading stack traces in a thread.
The Android hub →Developers in Edinburgh
Edinburgh pairs a long-established banking, insurance and asset management sector with one of Britain's strongest university computer science departments. Informatics research there has produced a steady stream of AI, NLP and systems spin-outs, and the national supercomputing centre keeps a small but real HPC community in the city.
