Data science & ML developers in Egypt
This is the free DEVAE community for Data science & ML developers in Egypt: members near you who work with Data science & ML, what they're building, and live rooms you can join to pair or debug.
Data science & ML on DEVAE
This hub is where data scientists, ML engineers and the analysts who are becoming engineers share notebooks, models and pipelines. Threads cover PyTorch and JAX, training on limited hardware, MLOps and deployment, feature engineering, data engineering with Spark and SQL, and the practical question of what a portfolio project should look like when you are trying to get your first role. Rooms let you share a notebook and a terminal, which is far better for debugging a training loop than a screenshot of a loss curve.
The Data science & ML hub →Developers in Egypt
Egypt has one of the largest developer populations in the Arab world, supplied by a dense university system in Cairo and Alexandria. Outsourcing to Gulf and European clients is a mainstay of the industry. Local salaries are low in dollar terms, which makes remote work a widely pursued route to better pay.
