Elixir on DEVAE
Elixir members are usually building systems where concurrency and uptime matter: real-time features, messaging, telemetry pipelines and LiveView applications that replace a whole front-end stack. Threads cover OTP design, supervision trees, deployment and clustering, and the practical question of adopting Elixir inside a company that does not use it yet. The community is small and correspondingly high-signal — people answer in depth.
The Elixir hub →Developers in Cork
Cork carries a mix of multinational software and pharmaceutical manufacturing technology, plus microelectronics and photonics research connected to the university. It offers much of Dublin's employer profile at lower cost, and the smaller scene means engineers tend to know each other across companies.
