Elixir on DEVAE
Elixir members are usually building systems where concurrency and uptime matter: real-time features, messaging, telemetry pipelines and LiveView applications that replace a whole front-end stack. Threads cover OTP design, supervision trees, deployment and clustering, and the practical question of adopting Elixir inside a company that does not use it yet. The community is small and correspondingly high-signal — people answer in depth.
The Elixir hub →Developers in San José
San José has been a shared-services and nearshore destination for decades, which gave Costa Rica an unusually deep pool of English-speaking engineers for a country of its size. UCR and the Instituto Tecnológico feed it, and the time zone matches central United States business hours.
