Go on DEVAE
Go developers on DEVAE are mostly building infrastructure and back-end services: APIs, CLIs, workers, and the tooling around Kubernetes and cloud platforms. Threads tend to be about concurrency patterns, project layout, error handling conventions, and profiling. Rooms fit this hub well because a lot of Go debugging is terminal work — share it, run the benchmark or the race detector together, and fix the issue on the spot.
The Go hub →Developers in Montevideo
Montevideo supports a software-export industry that is large relative to Uruguay's population, helped by free-zone incentives, political stability and a strong engineering faculty at the Universidad de la República alongside ORT. English is common in the industry and most work serves clients in the United States.
