JavaScript is the largest group on the platform because it sits underneath almost everything else here: React and Vue on the front end, Node on the back end, and the tooling in between. The hub is not a tutorial site. It is where people post the thing they shipped this week, ask for a second pair of eyes on a tricky closure or event loop bug, and open a room to fix it together with a screen and a terminal shared. Threads have public pages, so a good answer keeps helping the next person who searches for the same error. If you are learning, say so in your first post — members here answer beginners without the downvote culture, and the matchmaking page can pair you with someone at a similar stage or one step ahead.
