Kotlin on DEVAE
Kotlin on DEVAE covers both halves of the language's life: Android apps built with Jetpack Compose, and server-side work with Ktor or Spring. Multiplatform projects are a frequent topic, as are coroutines and the practical questions about structuring a codebase that mixes Kotlin with legacy Java. Rooms are useful for pairing on an emulator or a build problem, since you share the screen and the Gradle output rather than describing it.
The Kotlin hub →Developers in Berlin
Berlin is the most international engineering market in Germany: many companies run in English, and a large share of developers moved there from elsewhere in Europe, South America and South Asia. The scene is consumer and B2B startup heavy rather than industrial, and pay sits below Munich while rents have climbed sharply.

No. The location is just a filter. Members work with people across time zones every day; Berlin simply makes it easier to find someone who shares your hours or wants to meet in person.
