Kotlin on DEVAE
Kotlin on DEVAE covers both halves of the language's life: Android apps built with Jetpack Compose, and server-side work with Ktor or Spring. Multiplatform projects are a frequent topic, as are coroutines and the practical questions about structuring a codebase that mixes Kotlin with legacy Java. Rooms are useful for pairing on an emulator or a build problem, since you share the screen and the Gradle output rather than describing it.
The Kotlin hub →Developers in Cairo
Cairo has one of the largest developer populations in the Arab world, supplied by Cairo University, Ain Shams, AUC and the German University. Outsourcing to Gulf and European clients is a mainstay, salaries are low in dollar terms, and remote work is a widely pursued route to better pay.

No. The location is just a filter. Members work with people across time zones every day; Cairo simply makes it easier to find someone who shares your hours or wants to meet in person.
