Kotlin on DEVAE
Kotlin on DEVAE covers both halves of the language's life: Android apps built with Jetpack Compose, and server-side work with Ktor or Spring. Multiplatform projects are a frequent topic, as are coroutines and the practical questions about structuring a codebase that mixes Kotlin with legacy Java. Rooms are useful for pairing on an emulator or a build problem, since you share the screen and the Gradle output rather than describing it.

Oslo's engineering demand comes from energy, shipping, banking and a well-digitised public sector, with salaries and costs both high by European standards. English-speaking roles exist but Norwegian helps considerably outside product startups, and working hours are notably protected.

No. The location is just a filter. Members work with people across time zones every day; Oslo simply makes it easier to find someone who shares your hours or wants to meet in person.
Yes. DEVAE is free for individuals during the open beta — profiles, posts, rooms and the CLI included.
