Kotlin on DEVAE
Kotlin on DEVAE covers both halves of the language's life: Android apps built with Jetpack Compose, and server-side work with Ktor or Spring. Multiplatform projects are a frequent topic, as are coroutines and the practical questions about structuring a codebase that mixes Kotlin with legacy Java. Rooms are useful for pairing on an emulator or a build problem, since you share the screen and the Gradle output rather than describing it.
The Kotlin hub →Developers in Philadelphia
Philadelphia combines pharmaceutical and health-systems engineering, insurance and financial services, and a university research base led by Penn, Drexel and Temple. Cost of living well below New York keeps a lot of remote engineers here, and the local startup scene is small but long-established.
