Kotlin on DEVAE
Kotlin on DEVAE covers both halves of the language's life: Android apps built with Jetpack Compose, and server-side work with Ktor or Spring. Multiplatform projects are a frequent topic, as are coroutines and the practical questions about structuring a codebase that mixes Kotlin with legacy Java. Rooms are useful for pairing on an emulator or a build problem, since you share the screen and the Gradle output rather than describing it.
The Kotlin hub →Developers in Reykjavík
Reykjavík holds nearly all of Iceland's technology employment, spread across fisheries technology, genomics, gaming and financial systems, with cheap renewable power making it a site for data centres. The market is tiny and English is widely used, so many developers there work for foreign employers.

No. The location is just a filter. Members work with people across time zones every day; Reykjavík simply makes it easier to find someone who shares your hours or wants to meet in person.
