Kotlin on DEVAE
Kotlin on DEVAE covers both halves of the language's life: Android apps built with Jetpack Compose, and server-side work with Ktor or Spring. Multiplatform projects are a frequent topic, as are coroutines and the practical questions about structuring a codebase that mixes Kotlin with legacy Java. Rooms are useful for pairing on an emulator or a build problem, since you share the screen and the Gradle output rather than describing it.
The Kotlin hub →Developers in Yokohama
A large port city adjacent to Tokyo, effectively part of the capital labour market. Manufacturing and corporate research centres generate local engineering demand. Many developers live here and work in Tokyo, trading commute time for lower housing costs.
