Linux on DEVAE

DEVAE's Linux community is a free space where Linux developers share what they're building, open live rooms to pair or debug, and find teammates. The Linux hub covers the system underneath everything else: shell scripting, systemd units, permissions and networking, package management across distributions, kernel and performance tooling, and the daily-driver questions from developers who have just switched. It is a good hub for beginners because so many problems here are quick to diagnose once someone shows you the right command. Rooms with a shared terminal are close to ideal for that. Members also post dotfiles and setups, which tends to start useful conversations about tooling. Everything public becomes an indexable page, so a clear answer about, say, a stubborn service keeps helping people long afterwards.

Questions

Yes. This page is the Linux hub: it lists members who work with Linux, their latest public posts, groups and open rooms. It is free to join and everything public here is visible without an account.

Post what you are working on with the Linux tag, or open a live room and share your screen and terminal. Members who follow the tag see it in their feed, and the matchmaking page can pair you with people by stack and time zone.

It covers the same need with a different shape: instead of an invite-only server where conversation disappears, Linux threads on DEVAE have public pages, profiles show real work, and rooms add voice, screen and terminal sharing.

Yes. DEVAE is free for individuals during the open beta — posts, rooms, profiles and the CLI included. Paid team features come later.
