Developers in Ottawa
DEVAE's Ottawa community is a free hub for developers in Ottawa to meet, show what they're building, open live rooms to pair or debug, and find teammates nearby. Ottawa has a large but quiet developer population: government and defence work, telecom and networking companies in Kanata, e-commerce and SaaS, and research labs. A lot of engineers here cannot discuss their day job in detail, which makes a community for side projects, open source and career conversations particularly useful. This hub lists DEVAE members from Ottawa, Kanata and Gatineau with their stack and current project, and rooms let you pair or get a code review without crossing the city. Bilingual posts are welcome. Students from the local universities use the page to find mentors and first projects; founders use it to find technical partners. Post with the Ottawa tag to reach locals first, and add the collaboration flag when you need a teammate. Set your location on your profile and you are listed automatically.
Time zone: America/Toronto. Members appear here when their profile location matches Ottawa.

Set Ottawa as your location on your profile, post what you are working on, and open or join a live room. City rooms are the quickest way to talk to someone nearby without waiting for the next meetup.
Use the find-teammates page or post with the collaboration flag and the city tag. Local members see it first, and matchmaking can pair you by stack, commitment and time zone.
