Rust on DEVAE
DEVAE's Rust community is a free space where Rust developers share what they're building, open live rooms to pair or debug, and find teammates. The Rust hub attracts systems people, WebAssembly builders, and a steady stream of developers coming from other languages who want help getting past the borrow checker. Threads cover async and Tokio, error handling ergonomics, unsafe boundaries, embedded targets, and the very practical question of when Rust is worth it for a given project. Rooms are unusually valuable here: fighting a lifetime error is much easier when someone can see your code and your compiler output and you can talk it through. Members post crates and CLIs to find users and contributors, and there is a friendly overlap with the Go hub where people compare notes with real benchmarks. If you need a systems-minded co-founder or a reviewer for a crate, post with the rust tag and the collaboration flag. Public threads get their own pages, so explanations of tricky compiler errors become something the next person can find.

Questions
Yes. This page is the Rust hub: it lists members who work with Rust, their latest public posts, groups and open rooms. It is free to join and everything public here is visible without an account.
Post what you are working on with the Rust tag, or open a live room and share your screen and terminal. Members who follow the tag see it in their feed, and the matchmaking page can pair you with people by stack and time zone.
It covers the same need with a different shape: instead of an invite-only server where conversation disappears, Rust threads on DEVAE have public pages, profiles show real work, and rooms add voice, screen and terminal sharing.
Yes. DEVAE is free for individuals during the open beta — posts, rooms, profiles and the CLI included. Paid team features come later.
