Shopify on DEVAE
Shopify developers on DEVAE build themes, custom apps and the integrations that connect a store to everything else a business runs. Threads cover Liquid and the newer Hydrogen stack, app extensions, the Admin and Storefront APIs, checkout customisation, and the operational side of running a store at volume. A lot of this work is freelance or agency work, so the hub doubles as a place to find a partner for a client project or hand off an overflow build.

Amsterdam is the most English-friendly engineering market in continental Europe, with European headquarters of international companies, payments and travel technology, and one of the world's largest internet exchanges. Housing shortage is the defining constraint and pushes many engineers into surrounding towns.
