Shopify on DEVAE
Shopify developers on DEVAE build themes, custom apps and the integrations that connect a store to everything else a business runs. Threads cover Liquid and the newer Hydrogen stack, app extensions, the Admin and Storefront APIs, checkout customisation, and the operational side of running a store at volume. A lot of this work is freelance or agency work, so the hub doubles as a place to find a partner for a client project or hand off an overflow build.
The Shopify hub →Developers in New York
New York's developer scene is broader than the tech-company stereotype: finance and ad-tech engineers, media and publishing, a large agency and freelance world, and a steady stream of people who moved here for anything but software and ended up writing it. That variety is the point of this hub. Members from across the boroughs and nearby New Jersey appear here with their stack and their current project, and rooms let you meet someone without carving out an evening for a meetup in Midtown.
