Unreal Engine on DEVAE
Unreal members work on games, virtual production and real-time visualisation, and the questions reflect the engine's scale: Blueprints versus C++, replication and networking, rendering and lighting, build sizes, and source control on projects where the assets dwarf the code. It is a smaller hub than Unity's and skews toward people who have shipped before. Rooms help with the problems that are hard to write down — a materials issue, a packaging failure, a replication bug that only shows up with three clients connected.
The Unreal Engine hub →Developers in Reykjavík
Reykjavík holds nearly all of Iceland's technology employment, spread across fisheries technology, genomics, gaming and financial systems, with cheap renewable power making it a site for data centres. The market is tiny and English is widely used, so many developers there work for foreign employers.
