WordPress on DEVAE
WordPress is where a very large share of working web developers actually earn a living, and the hub reflects that: custom themes and blocks, plugin development, WooCommerce, performance and caching, migrations, and the client-work realities that rarely come up in framework communities. Members range from freelancers running an agency of one to developers maintaining large multisite installations. It is also a common entry point into professional development, so beginner questions are answered rather than dismissed.
The WordPress hub →Developers in Birmingham
Birmingham's developer market runs on professional services, banking back offices, public sector programmes and the engineering supply chain of the wider West Midlands. The University of Birmingham and Aston feed a steady graduate pipeline, and the city has absorbed relocated teams from London looking for lower operating costs.
