Android on DEVAE
Android developers on DEVAE talk about Compose, architecture that survives a growing app, Play Console policies, background work and battery, and supporting the long tail of devices that iOS developers never have to think about. The hub overlaps with Kotlin and Flutter, so cross-posting with both tags reaches the right people. Rooms are the practical advantage: share the emulator or a physical device screen along with Logcat and debug together, which is far faster than trading stack traces in a thread.
The Android hub →Developers in Cardiff
Cardiff's developer jobs cluster around Welsh government and public services, broadcasting, insurance and a growing fintech presence. Cardiff University supplies most local graduates, and because the Welsh market is small, a large share of experienced engineers work remotely for employers in Bristol or London.
