Developers in Calgary
DEVAE's Calgary community is a free hub for developers in Calgary to meet, show what they're building, open live rooms to pair or debug, and find teammates nearby. Calgary's developer community has grown quickly as the city diversified beyond energy, with fintech, agriculture and climate tech, logistics and a steady flow of remote engineers who moved for the cost of living and the Rockies. Many of them work for teams based in Toronto or the United States and have few local peers. This hub lists DEVAE members from Calgary and, for now, Edmonton with their stack and current project, and rooms make it easy to pair, get a review or talk through a career change with someone in the same time zone. Post with the Calgary tag to reach locals first, and use the collaboration flag when you are looking for a teammate or a technical co-founder. If you organise a meetup, post it here so members can find it. Set your location on your profile and you are listed automatically.
Time zone: America/Edmonton. Members appear here when their profile location matches Calgary.

Set Calgary as your location on your profile, post what you are working on, and open or join a live room. City rooms are the quickest way to talk to someone nearby without waiting for the next meetup.
Use the find-teammates page or post with the collaboration flag and the city tag. Local members see it first, and matchmaking can pair you by stack, commitment and time zone.
