Astro on DEVAE
DEVAE's Astro community is a free space where Astro developers share what they're building, open live rooms to pair or debug, and find teammates. Astro members are mostly building content-heavy sites where shipping less JavaScript is the whole point: documentation, marketing sites, blogs and storefronts. Threads cover the islands model and when hydration is actually worth it, content collections and type-safe frontmatter, mixing React or Svelte components inside Astro pages, and moving a site off a heavier framework without losing features. Because Astro projects are often solo or two-person efforts, the hub is a practical place to get a second opinion on structure before a rewrite. Rooms are useful for walking through a build or deployment problem with the terminal shared, and public threads keep helping the next person who searches the same question.

Yes. This page is the Astro hub: it lists members who work with Astro, their latest public posts, groups and open rooms. It is free to join and everything public here is visible without an account.
Post what you are working on with the Astro tag, or open a live room and share your screen and terminal. Members who follow the tag see it in their feed, and the matchmaking page can pair you with people by stack and time zone.
It covers the same need with a different shape: instead of an invite-only server where conversation disappears, Astro threads on DEVAE have public pages, profiles show real work, and rooms add voice, screen and terminal sharing.
Yes. DEVAE is free for individuals during the open beta — posts, rooms, profiles and the CLI included. Paid team features come later.
