JavaScript on DEVAE
JavaScript is the largest group on the platform because it sits underneath almost everything else here: React and Vue on the front end, Node on the back end, and the tooling in between. The hub is not a tutorial site. It is where people post the thing they shipped this week, ask for a second pair of eyes on a tricky closure or event loop bug, and open a room to fix it together with a screen and a terminal shared.
The JavaScript hub →Developers in Japan
Japan has a very large domestic software market shaped by system-integration firms, long-term employment norms and a strong games industry. Japanese is usually required outside international teams, which keeps the market somewhat separate from global hiring, though demand for English-speaking engineers has been rising.
The Japan hub →Pair on it, do not just post about it
Open a live room with voice, screen and terminal sharing and invite developers in Japan. Rooms are invite-only by default and free during the beta.

Post what you're building with the JavaScript tag and the collaboration flag — it reaches Japan members first and shows up on the find-teammates page. You can also open a live room with screen and terminal sharing and invite people directly.
No. The location is just a filter. Members work with people across time zones every day; Japan simply makes it easier to find someone who shares your hours or wants to meet in person.
